2011 TRD Sport DCLB 3500 miles. My steering wheel is off center but the truck seems to drive straight. Would this be covered under warranty? Should I bother having this looked at as they may screw up the alignment? What do you think? Opinions.
    Thanks

Is there a write-up somewhere on how to do this? I have the same issue myself.

Are you talking about the 2 bolts that are called "Steering Sliding Yoke" on the page 2 pic of the .pdf?

LED conversion on every accessible bulb, TRD exhaust (dealership threw in for free along with the Blu-Logic).
My Off-Road had the same issue, dealership didn't blink an eye about fixing it.

If they do push a little and explain its not from a pothole and you only have 3500 miles on it. If they wont help go to another dealer. While you are there you may want to get the rear spring tsb done if you havnt already.

UPDATE: Went to stealership for my first oil change and told them about the steering wheel being off center. The service writer looked over at the alignment rack said it was open and sent the truck straight over. Condition corrected. Also FYI the Toyota owners website is now recommnding 0w-20 Synthetic motor oil for Tacomas although still with 5,000 mile intervals.
    Thanks

The spring is designed to go left and right from center moving it on the splines is going to wind it too much off center. Aligning the front end adjusts the suspension to the center not the steering shaft.
