My girlfriend has trouble getting into my truck. What’s the best step to add to my Tacoma?

I definitely recommend a set of hoop steps like the Predator ones from Toyota. The single slab ones put me way too high to actually be of any use.

if you offroad at all dont get them... they'll just get hung up, and bend.. and piss you off.. you could get those retractable ones from AMP research...

Amp research power steps are probably the best and expensive...people always ask me what kind of sliders are those.

Ronzio, with my 3” lift in front with about 2” in back, (leveled) my wife is having a hard time getting in. I have the factory tube type steps, that make her step about 3 1/2 “ below the door edge. Could you post a picture with a tape measure so I could see the difference in what I have, vs. your setup? Or tell me the drop to the top of your step? Thanks

My father-in-law wanted shiny steps for his new truck so I installed these Lund 5 inch wide tubes for him this morning.
They seem to be very sturdy. $261.00 from Amazon.

Pulled off the factory, chrome step bars and replaced them with the AMP Research power steps. For my 2017 the part number is 75162-01A. With my lift, the factory step was about 21.5 inches off the ground. Now, with the AMP powered steps, the step up is only 15 inches. Plus, the power steps stick out a bit farther, making the step into the truck, much easier for my wife to get in. The power step kinda tuck up/under the rocker panel. I think they look cleaner.

Don't put the Predator steps on, if you like your Shins. You will bash into them.
