Have you guys ever had an issue with your stereo/ on board computer screen just resets for no apparent reason?

    Any root cause analysis?

Yes I had this exact problem about a month and a half ago.

I have an iPhone 8+ and I diagnosed it by turning my iPhone Bluetooth off, which caused the random Tacoma nav system resets to completely stop.

I then updated my iPhone that night and no more problems since (driven about 2k miles problem free). If there is not an update then keeping the Bluetooth off on your iPhone should work until the next update for your phone comes out.

I’m running IOS 13.4.1 and no problems right now. Did you just update your phone to 13.5? (I just saw this update when checking what I was running). If so, maybe 13.5 is the root cause.

EDIT: Just to clarify, mine reset 8-10 times over a 10 min drive when I was having this issue.

    Hope this helps!

Mine has done it less than a hand full of times over the past 4+ years. Doesn't seem to happen enough for it to bother me. Once a year, for a single 20 sec reboot, I can live with it.
