On my way to work this morning my radio turned on and off on it's own. At some points the screen would bs orange as my lights were on, but there would be no text and I could not turn it off. I shut the truck off at a stop light and turned it back on and the radio was off. A minute later the same thing happened. At one point it turned on and there was text but it was gibberish on the screen. Stock stereo, 2010 TRD Offroad. It was 7 degrees before windchill and that is the coldest the truck has been since I bought it.

I know it is covered under warranty, but any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Kbx10

    Bump for curiosity's sake.

Did your truck have a chance to warm up on your commute? If not, fully warming the truck up may tell whether or not the problem is temp related.

It was not fully warm, but it ran for over 10 min before I left, which I believe is sufficient.

 haha! a careful application is necessary -- that stuff is crazy hard to remove after it's frozen. but the silver lining is your truck would be encased in a protective shell of blessing.

Thanks BravesFan, my one concern is that they won't believe me when I tell them and I couldn't catch it on camera as it was so sporadic. Any tips there?

My worry is that when I take it in it won't act up and they won't believe me and refuse to replace it. Anyone else have this problem?
