Mine does the same thing. Pretty common problem. There are a few bushings in the shifter assembly that start to disintegrate over time. The bushings themselves are pretty cheap to replace, but you do have to take basically the whole console apart along with the shifter. Heres a video that shows you how to do it.

Wonder what the cost to have that done would be? Dealership labor cost too?

Edit: Just called dealer...they want $200

Anyone know the part #'s I would need? 95 Extended cab 4x4 Auto V6

I found a couple places that sold the same Marlin parts that had cheaper shipping. I believe LC Engineering was one, and the other was yota something or other.

I believe the OEM part number is 33501G. You can also get them on Amazon, but a Toyota dealer will probably have them cheaper.

Honestly, I would save your $200 and do it yourself. Doesn't seem overly complicated to me, but to each their own I guess.

Sorry I was on another thread with manual shift bushings being discussed - posted to the wrong thread :(

If you want OEM for a cheap price ask @gunny1005 he'll set you up.

I told them about USPS flat rate before they I ordered my Short throw shifter from URD. It wasn't an option in their menu but they were fine adding it for me and I ended up paying like six bucks to get it shipped to me.

That said, how much trouble do you wanna go thru to save what? $3.50?

Just ordered them from the dealer. Set of 4 was $4.75 total
    OEM part #90385-11003

I believe there are 2 bushings on top and 2 more below, is that correct?

Now, whom will I get to do all 4 bushings :fingerscrossed:

Yep, there are 4 bushings total. I can't remember their exact location in the shifter assembly, you'd have to look at one of the videos on YouTube.

If you can't do it yourself, I would take it to your local mechanic. The dealership will most definitely overcharge you for labor.

I think I found any easier way, but I do not believe it will cause any harm. Might just slide out over time.
I had a thick washer and I was able to wedge it under the t-bar (it's either part #33511C or #33530F) for a nice tight fit. There is very little room, but if you get a thick metal washer, you should be fine

Thanks for the input, Speedytech7 !
So i did replace the whole drive shaft now, and and still trying to fix center bearing height and alignment (still shakes at 70 mph mainly). Replacing rear springs and shocks made a huge difference on the ride, but the levers are still breakdancing all around...
Now about your quote, how hard is to replace body mounts?
Transmission mount will be a future choice to replace...
Which are the other drive train rubber mounts? engine's? center bearing? any other?
And yes I'd like to replace bushings and seats of gear and transfer case levers, do i need to get two bushings and two seats if I want to fix transmission and tc levers? would you mind to share those pics of yours?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, you did help me a lot!!!
