    Hello Taco World
I have a 2014 Tacoma double cab Prerunner 2wd. I lifted my truck 5in on the front and 4in on the back I have 5100 adjustable Bilstein shocks with a 2in spaces. The ride quality is bad its stiff i feel every bump i go through. I have 33 inch tire with slight rubbing ( doesn't really bother me at all just rubs while reversing) I need some advice on what to do to get a better ride quality on my truck. Do I need coilovers, Different shocks or i been seening that the maxtrac spindle works. Just trying to get the ride quality of my taco back close to factory, back to nornal factory, or if possible better than factory. Open to any suggestions Please and Thank you. Tires are 33x12.5 R20 Wheels are 20x10
    Stay safe out there=)

Spindles work best on this type. Your rough most likely cause you Bilsteins are maxed out. Post some pics of the set up front and rears

Just reading on them now, I see 4" is easy with spindles.

Consider removing the 2" spacers and blocks first. Then reassess ride quality. There are some nice aftermarket suspension options out there depending on your budget. I'm 4wd, so not knowledgeable about spindle lifts, so others can chime in. But, first thing I would do is loose the spacers/blocks. Go back down to 3" and stay there. Then if I could afford it, I'd look at the aftermarket coilovers, UCAs, rear shocks, and leaf springs.

    Spindles are a 4inch lift.
I had a set on my truck, with icons preloaded 650lb springs. It rode like crap until I added a giant front bumper to it. Only problem with comparison is, all this is on a 3rd gen.

OP you can get to an improved ride quality over stock. Dont get frustrated or give up. One thing I'm betting everyone will agree with, is for you to remove the spacers and blocks.

Yea im not going to add any extra weight on the front. =maybe just upgrade the intake but that wont add any extra weight.

These wheels and tires will make it more difficult for the suspension to compensate for. Need more sidewall on it to cushion the ride

What J said. You got multiple things screwing you here. The 20s are hurting your ride quality a lot, compounded by the spacers/blocks.

Edit - plus the billies running extended all the time.

But if i take of the spacers i would go back down to a 3in than i would rubber a lot on the frame and body, would a 6in shock work if i would change all the shocks together???

You're still riding on those wheels though.

Think of the more sidewall showing the more cushion.

Unfortunately if you want better ride quality you need different wheels/tires in my opinion.

You need the maxtrac spindles and set your bilstein on the first or second clip too keep your ride height. It will improve ride quality.... how much, I can't say.
The other thing with the spindles is they widen the front end by about 1/2 inch on each side. You would need wheel spacers in the rear to make it match. This also may make you rub more in the front with that tire width.
