    He should (well I would) loose the 20s if ride quality is the concern.

    As I said the spindle will move the front wheel outward... the rears don't go anywhere. So fronts will be wider than the rear. If you are OCD and all your wheels need to be equal distance, then yes. Wheel spacers in the rear (hub centic spider trax)

    That's a very nice wheel. Just too big for a taco.
    17's or 18's are the max you should go

    @knightofzero others will chime in soon. You will figure it out, but may not like the solution. If I were you first I'd loose the 20s and get some 16s/17s. Next I'd ditch the blocks and spacers. Then I'd reevaluate ride quality.

    @JaCado Yes there nice Wheels =) The 18in dosent that the sam offset of the 20in I like how the 20in wheel with -18 offest looked than the 18in -10 or -12 offt was
