Rotated tires, applied anti-squeal lube to front brake pads, sanded all pads, and repainted brake drums. Not bad for a Sunday.

Well, it wasn't cheap, but I think a canopy/topper should have rails. I have zero use for them right now, but I mounted them anyway.
    1. I went with Thule, just because it looks like they are The Name in these kind of things. Yakima is another, but I didn't look at them at all.
    2. My canopy had mount points, so I started out with Artificial Rain Gutters. They lined up perfectly. $75
    3. Then I bought four Gutter Mount Feet. I bought the "high" version. I'm thinking I coulda/shoulda gone with "low". $170
    4. Then I added two 58" load bars. $100
    5. Finally I added 4 Lock Cylinders because, well, people suck. It'll keep the casual thief away. $60
    Total: $405

The Hi-Lift is in my Amazon wishlist right now. Just holding out for funding and closer to TSF.

Funny, that's what I have. Good thing I moved to Bend or people would get us confused . The only down side of the lengthy bars that I have come across is when you are really close to something, say a tree, the bars tend to get torn off.

Nothing new recently really...but the Hi-Lift is still in the box riding around in back now, so that's a bonus.

My snorkel is still on my work bench. I've had it for over a year now.

It's not exactly truck related, other than usage, but this happened recently...

Thanks! It's a 2003 - my first bike. Got a good deal on it and it seems like the right fit for me. Now I just have to stop falling over...

I don't ride much anymore but I have a 2004 CRF250X, lmk if you ever want to go for a mellow rip in the woods.

I do! I need a riding buddy and a lot more seat time. I'm really hesitant to go out alone just in case something happens. I'm a shit magnet, so I'm fully expecting to be beheaded by a branch or something.

Putting around service roads and light trails is what has my interest right now.

Went on a trip to Hart mountain hot springs this past week end. First day out (at about the half way point to the hot springs) slid off the road at about 45 mph. Bent the bars. Continued on for 530 miles round trip. Got home to discover MY carb is leaking like a siv. Damn, I may not be the best person to ride with.
