Yeah he told me about them a few weeks ago, but I need to get back in touch with him about them.. I was looking at some other LED fogs as well, but they aren't available yet..

Anyhow, between a few new guns, building a new DH bike and several bike trips, the truck is on the back burner for a while.. The headlights he built still bring a smile to my face every time I see my truck

You'd love them dude. A lot brighter than what is needed for the road, but can't beat them for the price Dan sells them for.

Bikes will derail a build for sure haha. I'm in the middle of a transitioning crisis between building a new 26 frame or making the switch to 27.5.

What bulbs you running in your headlights? If you can swing it, try out the Osram CBI's. Make you fall in love with your truck all over again lol.

Dude tell me about it, this will be my second bike build since the first of the year.. I stayed 26 for my trail bike, although I am going 27.5 for my DH bike with the new Pivot Phoenix Carbon...

No kidding, his price on those lights is great.. I may just have to jump on it.

Can't really recall what bulbs I am using.. what do the Osram bulbs run?

BTW these were the other lights I was looking at.. a little over 1200 lumens per light and decent price.. Not available yet though

$185. Not cheap, but cream of the crop when it comes to HID bulbs. This is assuming you've already bought cranks for your DH build already....so if you haven't, $185 will get you some Shimano Zee cranks and a nice steak dinner for you +1. :D

Yup saw those and the pics of them on Andrews truck, they look pretty awesome! Basically a focused projector version of what I have on my truck with similar lumen rating. Can't go wrong with either Dan or TRS! You've seen mine, and you already know Dan's pricing. ;)

My D2's are the "Specter - Driving" pattern so it's the best compromise between width and length. There is a glare on the hood, but it's honestly not too bad, and I have a white truck too. I can try to snap a photo tonight for you.

Thanks! :) what Jerez said below me \/\/\/\/ shoot Anthony "DTFtacoma" a PM. Mine is his "Type C" bumper. ;)

Haha thanks but more like "DRY WALLET" build lmao. Hey but who cares, carpe diem!!! You never know when it'll be your time to go right!? :)

Caesar at Lightwerkz will definitely take care of you on that retro! Were you surprised at the pricing??? More or less than you anticipated???

Andrew @ TRS builds the LS460's for Caesar and he's also a very active member here on TW so you've got plenty of support if you ever need any on your headlights. Andrew is a VERY helpful guy, and is always responsive with emails and calls!

Please run Osram CBI's in your 460's!!!! That's the only bulb that anyone should ever run in these projectors!

    I expect an update! :)

Damn reading through this thread, I can't believe I forgot to post my exhaust system update back in February!!!

Anyway, because I am terribly OCD when it comes to finding the balance between a good sounding exhaust that won't kill mine or my passengers' ears inside at ANY cruising rpm.....I got rid of the Vibrant resonator and replaced it with a Borla XR-1 canister. Part #40943(center in/center out/12" long/ 7.875" wide/4.5" thick").

    IMG_20140225_150340_1_zpscdeb73c6_49a7976d2d33f88f5583ef8fa68851f3b6e44eb7.jpg

which feeds into my bigger Magnaflow canister in the rear(specs on 1st page):

    IMG_20140225_150403_1_zpsa12395e2_3088476cb0ebcfb2b4f758f81ae921e58be9e0cd.jpg

I kinda took a similar route to Super Werty here on TW running inline muffler canisters on a full catless 3" exhaust system. The only difference is that mine uses ALL center in/center out canisters and I have my exhaust dumping right before the rear axle

The result, in my opinion, is perfect. I was getting a bit off annoying drone in a small area of the RPM range in 6th, but it was the range I would cruise in the most lol---the 65-73mph range. So, I had to do something about it because it was getting on my nerves. It was louder for my passengers in the back too.

With the additional muffler in there it's ONLY loud when I want it to be, and it's very tame at any cruising speed/rpm. Nice tuned deep sound.

You know I had to shoot an updated video!

    http://youtu.be/Ay6H70CulRA

I apologize, the sound quality for the lower revs is absolute SHIT. The slight breeze + limited cell phone microphone pickup on sound, but I assure you it sounds much better at low rpm's than what it is in that video. I will try to shoot another one when there isn't such a breeze rolling through.
