    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
Threw on the Wet Okoles today that I ordered via TW group buy last month.

They turned out fantastic. Great fit!

Charcoal and black, no piping, sport zipper pockets, wallet/cell phone slots on the front seats, and T|X Pro graphics.

Got a couple new little "toys" for the cockpit to mess around with...

Grabbed a OBDLink MX Bluetooth OBD adapter:

and an Arkon Slim Grip phone/tablet windshield mount for my phone:

Pretty easy to set up everything. Had the OBDLink app paired up with the OBD adapter and running in less than 2 mins on my phone:

    1415488470_IMG_20141108_140834_1-picsay__9580e4615134e5b06d5608fb7bba107cbc64e4cb.jpg

    1415488659_IMG_20141108_140731_2-picsay__da9fbc87ac94c86b690800dd98b60db2e6d14246.jpg

Just for shits, decided to see how well the mount would do with my Google Nexus 7(2013) tablet:

    1415488216_IMG_20141108_122955_1-picsay__9c51a6d7bec5e1f6cc8a55a8cbc9aecac8a4e251.jpg

It worked out surprisingly well in the mount, didn't even budge a millimeter even on a rutty dirt road. Even the road visibility where it was mounted was pretty good despite it being much bigger than my Nexus 5 cell phone.

I think I might have to use my tablet as my dedicated navigation unit on long trips from now on. Google Maps was sooo much better to follow on a bigger screen AND a phone call won't pause my Maps.

I messed around with OBDLink app and got Torque Pro as well. Both are pretty good---Torque has a lot more depth which should keep me busy for a while, but based on first impression, I like the LOOK of the OBDLink readouts better (the one that is in pictures posted above).

Pretty cool to have the ability to toggle between data logging/live readouts/performance tests/read & clear diagnostic codes(CEL's) all from my cell or tablet!

Initial thoughts: money well spent so far. :)

Took a LONGGGG break from modding ANYTHING, I admit. BUTTTTTT that doesn't mean I didn't have anything in queue! ;)

Funny you bumped my thread, Thomas, as literally yesterday I was at Bruce Force Fab having Billy install my finished rear bumper.

The drought is over, here is the latest update on the truck :)

    Notes on the bumper:

    - It's ~5lbs lighter than the factory bumper/hitch combo all said and done and a LOT stronger than the outgoing stock stuff as well. The day someone rear ends me, they better not be driving a car lol.

    - Billy of Brute Force Fab was in a dark place in his life for a moment, and he acknowledges he royally fucked up and has lost a few customers because of it, but he's now back in good spirits and on the up&up. Billy is a GREAT person, period. Despite my heavily delayed delivery of my bumper because of what he was going through, I WILL STILL throw him business(even future business from myself!) any day. Billy's work is still top notch, and he's made big strides in making sure he doesn't ever put his customers through that again. I believe him, too. I'm glad I decided to drive the 2 hours to meet up with Billy at his shop in Fresno/Clovis and have him install my bumper. The experience in person was just an extension of my great experience with him over the phone.

    - Don't worry, I've got d-ring shackles coming lol.

    - Chrome is officially eliminated from my truck. :D

I don't really tow many things, but do you think that hitch is as strong as the stock version? I paid for the tow package...for some reason I still think I should maintain the integrity of the whole thing.

Also, that front skid of yours. Dezert Toys doesn't have a website that I've found. I'm not a Facebook guy. How do you get in touch with them?

It's STRONGER than stock. Trust me. The only reason Billy didn't have it SAE tow rated is because it costs TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars to get that done which isn't worth it---I don't blame him. There are a few Brute Force customers on here who've towed well over the factory ratings without any problems. :)

When we took off the factory bumper/hitch I realized how much of a JOKE the stock gear was.

Here's the sale thread for the DTF bumper/skid:

I forgot about cutting the lower crossmember. Did that give you pause? Now you've sent me to Brute Force. That's some nice stuff. Been on the planet for almost half a century. Can't be too critical of someone going to a dark place. We're all capable of some crazy shit even if we don't know it yet.

:D Please don't ask about the Bronson................sadly, there are NO updates on that. *sigh* :(

Not at all. My truck was the guinea pig/prototype for the Type C----Anthony asked me to let him run with an idea he had (whatever it was or involved doing to my truck bc I trust his input) and my only requirements I told him were to keep it CLEAN, STRONG, FUNCTIONAL. I think he walked the fine line that balanced all those pretty successfully. You'll realize how much ground clearance you were missing out on once you cut that thing out.

Thanks, man. You're a patient mofo, no way I'd be able to hold out on that build you've got stashed away in the closet ;)

The new boxxer is the shit. Like the Pike, it's just better than any fox fork I've ever ridden. That said, the bike as a whole just rips. Add to that, it's finished weight came in at 33 pounds, so the bike is fast, nimble and extremely stable. Best DH bike I've ever been on.

Ha ha, that push shock is just ridiculous! I have a hard time seeing how it can possibly be worth the 1200 price tag. I mean, is it really THAT much better than anything else out there? I'd be more inclined to consider that new DVO shock, but really, if I do change rear shocks, I'd likely do a vivid air.
