I've been having the service department do preventive maintenance on my little brown Tacoma. I had the tranny flushed, codes fixed, and rear diff oil changed. Tomorrow I take it in for a full brake job, front and rear.

Next will be wheel alignment and new shocks. I was wondering if there are shocks that may be better than the OEM shocks, and what you guys would recommend? They would need to be OEM spec because my truck isn't lifted or anything other than stock.

Can anyone share some advice? Should I just go with OEM Toyota shocks, or seek better?

If you're happy with how the truck rides and performs, then there is no reason to upgrade.

If you want a little upgrade without lifting, the Bilstein 4600's (yellow) are great.
