4C0283E3-E568-44CF-B7A4-E54F10D78684.jpg I’ve manipulated the sound settings.

The fade isn't all the way into the rear speakers, it just diminishes the overpowering midrange from the front and enhances the separation of the High,Mid, and Lo frequencies. In other words, more dimension.

Until I decide to upgrade the system, I'll run with it.

Do the Subaru Tweeters and the Kicker Door Speakers and it will sound much better.

Why push it to the rear? I would think it'd sound muffled

It might be as good as you can get it but if you want good sound you'll need to replace the speakers at a minimum, adding an amp helps a lot to.

Why do you have it balanced so far back? Willing to bet if you centered it. It would sound even better. (As good these can sound lol)

To me, if you center it, it sounds like it is all coming from the dash instead of being "centered".

I have mine set two clicks to the rear for sound imersion ie not to one sided. The rest looks about the same except bass is a few ticks lower cuz it sounds like Shit when listening to house etc.

I know, you would think that; when everything centered i get no bass and it sounds like only my front speakers are working. At this setting, I get more spatiality and just the right amount of base. Also I am 6'2 and my seat is almost all the way back. It really helped "balance" the fidelity... if you will, for such a crappy sound system...

Yes, if I'm listening to my Deep Space House and Progressive, I too, dial back the bass...

    All plug and play?
Will consider this as I travel to and from work 7 hours each way.

Ya the tweeters are 100% plug and play, the door speakers not so much but damn close. No splicing needed.

Subi tweets, Kickers in all the doors and Kicker hideaway under the passenger seat. Sounds legit :headbang:

Why did you go with sub on passenger side ?
I'm doing an install with same sub and debating sides.

    Poll here.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...assenger-or-driver-side.550015/#post-17870933

Kind of leaning to drivers side per others feedback. More room, better thump, and you can always turn it down. :notsure:

There is a reason speakers are located on the stage at a concert in front of you and not behind you ... :rimshot:
