I'll go buy a battery once I get off from work and I'll see the condition of the truck. I'm sure they took the seats out all tough the sherif didn't mention anything about them. I'll take pictures once I see it. I hope my insurance covers some of the costs

Ditto. What happens if you need your vehicle for an emergency, like taking a loved one to the hospital....and it's gone.

Just take a 5 gallon bucket with you to the impound yard. If you seats were stolen, then you'll at least have a sweet bucket seat to get you home. :D

$212!!!! That shit should be illegal! All for some fat, donut eating slob, who couldn't chase a thief more than 50ft.,sitting on his ass all day watching a space the city puts a fence around & charges people for putting stuff there. You got robbed twice here!I hope they catch the other thief. What amazes me is that when a city or their employee does it,it is legal, when a sorry mfer does it,it's illegal.Robbery is robbery.

The officer's best words of concelation was "oh, since it wasn't your fault we won't charge you towing fees" <<< ok that's great but they should have a place at least to store these vehicles as a service for the cominuty if it was stolen at least. I'll take pics today since yesterday was getting kinda dark

    wow that's horrible.
I often heard storries of stolen vehicles but now I know exactly what it feels like. I don't think any of the four tires match up really, but hey at least it stands on tires. the tow truck guy said there was an extra fee if he helped me push it thru my driveway... I would have given him a better tip if he would have helped me... so I used my sister's PT cuiser to drag my truck in my drive way, funny.
