Stony Lonesome 2-6-20

Starting a thread to see who wants to meet up at Stony on Saturday before the B.O.S. Barbie Jeep races. The races are slated to start at 2 I believe. There is also a night ride going on, but I'm not going to be staying for that. As of right now there is a better than 50% chance it will be muddy as it is supposed to rain Friday night.

My son and I plan to be down there around 10 and head to the trails as soon as folks that are coming show up.

Preciate the tag. Unfortunately I'll be in the Cohutta WMA doing some camping. Next time for sure though, ive yet to go to stoney

 

We'll be camping at Cloudland Canyon this weekend or else we would be there!

hope you’re better soon. Im hoping they don’t schedule surgery til Monday next week so I can go. If they do surgery this week may still go just take some extra pain meds

 

If i could be upright for more than 25 mins at a time without falling over from dizziness id be almost 100%

 

watching grown men roll down a hill while doped up on pain meds could be trippy

 

I won’t be that doped up . If I can’t get by with just one small dose then it just ain’t my time to go have fun

 

I won’t know till Thursday night if I will have to work Friday night (3rd shift), but I will run it by the wife and see what she says

@JBTacoma are you planning to be the guy in the Jeep or under the Jeep?

 

I would love to be either one but I'm too old for that kind of stuff. If I was 20 years younger I would definitely be one of them.

 

What time are you guys showing up there?

I'm shooting to be there right around 10, but am flexible on that. Does that work for y'all? @JBTacoma ?
The barbie races start at 2 so that will give plenty of time to cruise around before watching.

I’ll be there. Not sure who all is coming with me this time just yet though.
