    That's up on Wellsboro right?

My husband used to go to those every year. He keeps telling me he'll take me up there one year. Maybe next year...

Yeah, this was my fourth year.

Hopefully they will have it next year. The word is that the PA legislature wants to cut funding to all of the state parks, which means no more park rangers, which means no law enforcement, which means no rally. They had a bunch of letters typed up for all of the workers to sign this year to the PA legislature. I hope they continue to have it, because I really enjoy going.

magikbean - No problem, I love sharing them! If you go on to the rest of my page on flickr, I have pics from last year too. If you can find a rally that is close, I highly recommend it, even if it isn't a large, national event. Try and volunteer to work the rally too. Most of the stages aren't open to the public, so other than actually racing, its one of the few ways to see stuff most other people don't see. Only a few of the pics I took were in areas accessable to the public. Besides, without the volunteers to help, most rally races couldn't even take place.

Also, for those interested, I finally got the video to load up on youTube:

That's a damn shame. The rallye won't go away - it'll just move to another state. PA will lose $$ in terms of tourism into the state.

We went up to Wellsboro one year just to see the PA Grand Canyon. We actually drove the MDX around on the rally roads. That was really neat. It's beautiful country up there.
