I got two weeks, and 700 miles on the new Rough Country 6" lift and 35's on my 2013 double cab TRD Sport. I don't know if the lift/tires are even related to this, but they seem relevant since it never happened in the last 23k miles. Driving along today at speeds varying from 35-55 on our crooked ass W.V. roads. All of a sudden in a left hand curve I get a "binding" sensation in the front right wheel that only lasts about 3-4 seconds, and pulls the truck right. A mile down the road it happens again. I stopped, got out and looked to see is anything was obvious. I couldn't find a thing. Started down the road again. 5-6 miles later in a right hand curve I get the same noise and feeling in the drivers side front wheel, pulling me left for about 3-4 seconds. This time I also noticed that there was a noise and vibration in my brake pedal (not using the brakes, but can still tell that the pedal is vibrating). Is this somehow ABS related? Seems strange the outside wheel would be binding randomly in a curve, when Im not using the brakes at all. I can already see my dealer trying to blame it on the lift

vsc? I don't know much about this stuff but there is a sensor that has something to do with yaw control that needs recalibrating I think

just a bump so someone else might chime in

The VSC engaging was my first thought also. If it hasn't been recalibrated since the lift and alignment, I'd start there.

Thanks. What does that entail? Is it a trip to the dealer to have it reprogrammed at different specs?

Thanks. After a brief review of the methods posted here I had one nagging thought: the reset methods depicted both advertise to reset DTC codes. I don't have any codes being thrown, or lights being tripped. Stranger than fiction... I guess I will make a trip to the friendly Neighborhood Toyota dealer and see where we go from there...

I reset the zero point Monday, still having VSC lock up the abs on paved corners that have an incline or decline in the curve. Im going to use your abs kill switch this weekend to turn it all off and see what happens.
