Strange "howl" coming from front wheel?

    I need a bit of advice on a strange noise coming from front driver side wheel. It makes a howling noise while driving. When backing up it turns into more of a "growl". When turning to the right it goes away until the wheels are straight again. I would appreciate a lead in the right direction.

    Does the howling happen at high way speeds wheres its more noticeable? Because if so then id say wheel bearing from personal experience

    After watching a video on how to press the wheel bearings out of the hubs I decided to purchase the whole preassembled unit and swap it out. Now I just hope this thing lasts until next week when the package arrives.

    Bigger battery..Elec in the bed..Topper,
    Same thing on my 07....Ambient and hard to pin down..Right curves, it goes away..Replaced the right from ass'y...Still howling..One guy DID say, because the bearings have an inside and outside race, its not always a slam dunk..I used a stethoscope recently, found that the pinion bearing has a nice little grind..My buddy. Who is gonna repair it said that a right curve will NOT make a pinion bearing go silent...He thinks its the right rear bearing....Where I heard nothing at all with the stethoscope earlier.. Pinion bearing and a solid sleeve...And whatever else
