I'm the proud new owner of a 2003 4WD 4door tacoma, when the truck gets warmed up i get a sound similar to a failing waterpump but from the back of the engine or tranny. I just had the 90k service and the mechanic stated that this sounded like it was coming from the transmission. Any expertise on things to look at before I get in too deep. It does this in drive, park or neutral.

    Thanks
