Will soon be doing a valve cover gasket..... Anyone have any more miles than me and encounter more repairs??????

Nope. Just giving you some threads that are already open with what you are looking for.

There's a search feature up in the right hand corner for you as well (not being an ass, just letting the new guy know where it is ;) )

    Welcome by the way!

Impressive. What's the spark plug change interval on the 4cyl? I take it it's not 30k like the V6.

The 2.7L in the 2nd-gen originally had 100K spark plug changer interval. After a few years Toyota switched to iridium plugs and went to 120K interval.

Thanks for the help.. when I test drive it at the dealer it had .7 of a mile on it...if you use factory plugs 100k....
I've used iridium..... with a soft bed cover on and keeping it at around 70mph I can get 500 miles to the tank easily..I drive 65 miles to work one way..

I was curious if you bought it used, because you said you went through 3 sets of tires. 3 sets over the span of 370,000 miles would be an avg. life span of 123,000 mi. per set. I'm assuming there were a couple sets you forgot about.

Well pigpen in L.A. That's what we do, drive, drive, drive in winter too can you believe that??????? maybe not in Montana huh.. There is always a douche-bag with 5000+ posts who knows everything....This is my third toy vehicle but the only one I bought with less than one mile on it and therefore I documented everything as far as maintenance goes. It may be unbelievable but BS, No ... Anyone curious about how long parts will last on a stock standard toy pick up drop me a line I'll give you all the well documented info...
