I have a spare set of wheels that I would like to outfit with some mud terrain tires. I have Michelin ltx ms2 265/70/r16 on my truck now and love them for daily driving. Best road tires ever in my opinion. Really good on wet pavement, quiet ride, super smooth, yada yada yada. And I have read many other people's experience with them that say the same thing.
I would like a mud terrain tire with the same reputation of quality and performance.
So what is the Michelin ltx ms2 of mud terrain world? And from there, what would be a good value if I wanted to keep the cost down to a reasonable level? Say less than $200?
I realize that there are other threads on this, but many of them are years old and i would like to hear about the most recent tires available.
    Thoughts?

Hey Jimbo!!! I haven't been on here in a while, your truck is looking awesome as always. I ran two sets of Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2's. They were freaking awesome. Nice ride and good off road too. Gas mileage on par with the Michelin's. White letters out for maximum performance. haha. (Edit: they are definitely not mud terrain, just all-around good tires) I dug up a picture from December 2010. One of the few times she was out in the mud!

Cool pics man! I owe you some updated pictures!
I haven't been on here in a while either! I will definitely take a look at those tires. I really like the Michelin tires you put on the truck. A set of good all terrain tires would probably be just fine for any off roading I'll ever do! It would be cool to have strictly mud terrain for the few times I do drive down a muddy trail though.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute I spend in the truck. Its pretty much my favorite part of every day. I recently organized all your service records and wrote all the service done in a maintenance logbook that I'm keeping.
Can't wait to take it on a road trip!
You gotta tell me about your new Tacoma! The new ones are my favorite Tacoma since the 2001-2004 model
