Strobe Amber & Reverse Lights

I want to wire 2 amber lightbars and 2 led light pods to a wireless strobe control module while also having the ability to use the 2 led light pods as reverse lights. Could I possibly just tap into the light pod wiring harness and run a switch to control as reverse lights? Maybe theres another way? Links to parts are below. I want to make sure this is possible before purchasing.

Use diodes on your white LEDs to make sure voltage doesn't feed back the wrong way.

 

Would I tap the wiring harness with switch into the white led wiring and put a diode on the lead running into the control module? Also could you post a link to a similar in line diode?

 

Put diodes on each separate positive line going to the white LED.

Something like those should work, make sure you wire them up properly (google wiring diodes if you're unsure). 5 amps should be more than sufficient to handle your LEDs.
