Strobe feature on HID xenon?

    real dumb question. I have a xenon kit for my spot lights and I have it connected to my switch-pro. Will enabling strobes on my HID mess anything up? Just curious if it’s a no - no to make my HID kit strobe.

    Thanks for entertaining my curiosity

    Definite no. HIDs must cool down in between starts or they will fail. They are also no instant on, so they will not start right away, aka they will not strobe. That would be a great way to quickly fry the ballast and bulb.
