    Hi,
I just bought a 2010 5-lug and purchased a cheepo lift kit off ebay. I assumed the strut spacers were just copies of the Ready-lift, Fat Bob's, CCM, etc. but when I received them they only measure 1.5" from flat to flat. They were advertised to give a 3" lift. I had suspected that they were just exaggerating the normal 2.75" lift advertised by the sellers that I just mentioned. I also know from reading the threads here that part of the lift comes from rotating the springs, however 1.5" does not seem nearly enough to give me a final height increase of 2.75". Is this normal for strut spacer lifts or should I return this kit? Thanks.

Fat Bob's lift kit, 30's on stock steelies, lunchbox locker in the rear, and a ton of other general mods and additions to help the utility of the truck for my particular uses.
Return, spend the money and buy legit. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Coil over spacers are shit, but a 1.5" spacer will give you a 3" lift up front.. I had a spacer lift on mine for about a week before I went with a OME lift, the spacers I had were 1" flat to flat and gave me 2" of lift up front.

Not unless you want to sell you newborn

If I remember correctly it's a ratio so it wont be the exact size. I also suggest swapping out your shocks to a new set of 4600s.

Also there's no sense paying more for the same metal spacer. Ebay ftw!!!!!

Fury, but does 1.5" sound right for the spacer's actual size? I read somewhere else on this board that 2" was the normal actual size.

1.5" spacers will give you a 3" lift. I have fat bobs and thats how they are.

Ok, thanks guys. I think I will keep the lift kit I have. I already ordered a full set of Bilsteins to go with it on 5 Lug Fury's recommendation. It should be good.
