Swapped out to the Pro grill and spray painted the grill lettering bronze to match the wheels. Plasti-dip the hood scoop black.

New speakers from Crutchfield , front and back. Subaru tweeters on the dash and some left over Dynomat really helped the sound system . Also sprayed some Fluidfilm in the bottom of the door to keep any possible rust at bay.

I’ve thought some about doing a better job with the gas filler. Maybe weld up a new tube and get the filler into an easier to reach spot. But as it stands, works fairly well and uses the stock plumbing.

I repurposed a Mobius 2 camera from a drone into a DashCam mounted on the GoPro mount, using a mount from Shapeways.com. It turns on with the ignition and just keeps recording five minute files , over writing the older files. If I need a file I have to plug it into the PC. It was a bit of a bear to set up, but takes great footage and looks really clean.

Earlier this month I dropped the truck off at Mule Expedition Outfitters in Issaquah and had some work done. Falken shocks with Dobinson Hilux springs , total chaos UCA.

That's an awesome truck. I want to throw a flatbed in place of the pickup bed after I finally put too many dents into it.

I had some scrap aluminum knocking around so I fabricated an auxiliary fuse panel.

Replaced the battery connectors with a more beefy military grade connection.

It was around $2500 two years ago. I got $1000 for the OEM bed with a dented tailgate and $900 from insurance for the dented tailgate.

The 265/70-17 General Gabbers AT2 tires rubbed pretty bad. Worse since the lift in fact. So yesterday I cut chunks off the body mount brackets and welded on some 1/8 inch plate. Also cut some plastic and beat the crap out of the pinch weld.

    34C37634-9CD1-45F9-BC67-D1B6C20FE055.jpg 8A8D63A4-37DD-437C-89AF-E0AF7D06D68A.jpg 4851BC4A-1EB3-4BDC-BA2F-C0292B66C29D.jpg

Hoping for a Labor Day sale so I can pick up a larger set of tires. Probably 275/70-17. I’ve really liked the General Grabber so I think I’ll go with the ATx. E rated as the P rated have been a little worrying with the FWC fully loaded.
