Hey newbie here! did a search about which offset to use and can't really figure out what i need. I have a 09 dc lb and ordered a 3" ome kit with 885's and new leaf packs. no uca's yet, maybe in the future. so the wheels i am looking at are:
    17x9 backspace 4.5 offset 12
    OR
    17x9 backspace 4.0 offset 25

Which will fit better? I don't really like the looks of the tires sticking way out, but i don't want to rub on the caliper or uca?
    Any ideas?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
What tire size do you plan on running? Offset isn't much of a concern as backspacing is. The smaller the backspacing, the more the tire will stick out of the fender well.

go with the 17x9 with 4.5" bs and -12mm offset. They won't stick out as far as the other option. but they will stick out!

agreed a 4 inch backspace will stick out a half inch more than the 4.5 backspace.

why are you getting a 9 inch wide rim?? Just get an eight and 4.5 backspace wont stick out as far...
