I am wanting to put in an equalizer, that interfaces between the stereo and the speakers, and I want to put in a sub. Where in the double cab is the oem sub installed and what clever solutions have you done with hiding it out of the way?

Do you have the factory JBL system?

You want to keep the factory non JBL speakers and add a sub? Is the EQ for the sub or all speakers? Are you adding aftermarket amps for mids and highs?

I'm not driving my truck to work today and don't have any pictures of my setup. I'll send you a picture once I get home so you can see one of the many options you have. :D

EQ for all speakers+sub, from what I have read, amps are recommended. The more I look the more cost effective it seems to upgrade head unit instead. Looking into the many options, as I want to pick something up come June
