Now that I have taken out the the plastic bins, I know how much room I have in the back of my 06 double cab tacoma, I need some advice or suggestions about what speaker(s) to put in.

I have it figured out that I can build an angled box that is 12 inches high, 29 inches long and an average of 5-5.5 inches wide. That gives me somewhere between 1.007-1.107 cubic feet of space. If i build this box, it is the easest possible build to avoid the metal hooks.

Assuming that I build that size box, what size sub(s) should I get?

A-1 10 inch sub, that has a depth of less than 5 inches
B-1 8 inch sub, that has a depth of less than 5 inches
C-2 8 inch subs, that have a depth of less than 5 inches

To make a 10 inch sub fit, I am worried about not having enough cubic feet for good quality sound...

    Any suggestions?

I'd do one 10 if I was you. Two 8's will be expensive and might require a larger box. There are plenty of 10's that will fit in 1cube sealed enclosures for sure. How much money are you looking to spend on the woofer itself?
