Suggestion on High Quality Plate Bumper 2012 Tacoma

Hey there,

Got in a fender bender and I am not a fan of how the plastic bumper responded.

I'm looking for a high quality aftermarket plate front bumper that wont damage the vehicle. I don't need the grill guard, just a bumper.

There's so many options and I've heard some can damage your truck.

Any thoughts on ones to consider and ones to avoide?

My two options/suggestions:

#1: Contact TW member @EddyRRT, he fabs bumpers and his company is called SOS Concepts. I have purchased from him before and will do so again. He has some amazing skills. His bumpers are rock solid and a great buy. I currently have his rock sliders and am saving my pennies for one of his bumpers. SOS Concepts can also be found in the "Vendor" section of TW.

#2" If you don't want a full off-road plate bumper, you could look into US Off-Road. https://www.usoffroad.us/store/bumpers/tacoma-2012-15-winch-mount-bumper/ This will still leave on a lot of your plastic bumper in place, but will give decent protection if you are hit low and center, and that's about all it protects.
