    DATES: After gong back and forth for a while I have decided to start the Magruder Corridor on Saturday July 25th. Meet somewhere in Elk City that morning and head out.

    Somewhere I read it took about 9-10 hours to do the Magruder so i'd assume about 1.5 days for that, then another 2 for Lolo (you don't have to do both but I am if time allows). Im giving myself the whole next week off from work just in case something were to happen.

    How long did it take you guys to do it last time?

    Took us a week I think. We took our time though. 1 night on magruder and then 2 on lolo.

    Should be able to do it in 5 days easy.

    I have to get the time approved, but I'm gunning for this.


    Back in 2010 my family went over to Yellowstone, and on our return leg we stopped at the start of the Lolo Motorway to stretch legs. I pointed at it and said, "I'm going to drive you, road," So this is kinda a bucket list item.

    Start Magruder Sat July 25th, Camp that night along the route.

    Then reach Darby, MT Sunday evening the 26th, stay in Darby.

    Monday morning leave Darby and head to Lolo and start the Lolo corridor and camp 2 nights along that trail.

    That brings us to Wednesday. Drive to Wallace, ID stay there and then take I-90 home?

    For electronic, have you tried Avenza PDF Maps? Really great app.
    As for the rest, try to call the ranger station, they were really helpful when we tried to plan the lost corner trip. MVUM maps will be the most definitive, but that can be a lot of map to handle.

    I haven't used that one as much, but it is similar. TSF released their official map to them and it really helps.
    Avenza is free is only difference, with in app purchases for some deluxe maps.
