I just changed my wheels and tires to the Summit Offroad Raptors in matte bronze and BFG KO2 in 315/70r17.

I must say, I am very very happy with the wheels. Don’t know about the tires yet since I only put two miles on them.

I didn’t see much on the web about these wheels so I wasn’t sure about them, especially considering the excellent price. I did talk to a couple people who said they wheeled them hard for a while and they’ve held up great.

They’re advertised as 23.5 pounds but when my buddy weighed them for me when he picked them up they were closer to 21 pounds. They are a little dark but look a bit lighter in direct sunlight. I really liked the look in the pics on their website but they look even better in person. They have a deeper lip than they appear to in photos and look high quality.

Here’s a couple pics of them when I got them installed. The first pic is from my buddy when he picked them up to show the difference in color in direct sunlight and not.

Since I couldn’t find much info online, hope this helps anyone who’s on the fence.

I actually like them even more than when I first put them on.
I had the Method 701 in bronze before these and I like the look of these better.
The Raptors are much lighter as well.

The fit and finish on these is top notch. Don’t let the low price fool you. These are very nice wheels.

Also, the service from Dayne at Summit has been phenomenal.
I had a problem with one of the stickers on the center cap. I emailed them and he sent me two right away.
I screwed one of them up and couldn’t quite get the second one flush.

I emailed him back asking how much it would be to purchase a center cap so I wouldn’t have to deal with the sticker. I did not expect at all to have one sent for free.

Dayne emailed back letting me know he will be sending one for free and another sticker in case. That is what I call awesome service!

Looks good. Would you have gotten the Dakars or a different color if all the options were available or was this setup your top choice?

How much did you pay OTD for the wheels? They look very nice.

Looks great! I have the bronze Dakars sitting in my garage waiting to be mounted. Need to find someone local that can do a CMC for me first.

This was my first choice. I like bronze and this style is my favorite from what they offer.

Have you done any off roading with these wheels? I'm wondering how they hold up to some abuse. They look awesome, aren't expensive, so if they are tough I'd say they are the best wheels you can buy.

2500 per wheel! I’m running the Dakars and they’re bad ass.
