The spending never ends with these projects :D

Are you sure you cannot find somebody that can rebuild them with other parts?

Not even gonna bother trying to rebuild them, I'm gonna either save them for when I link the rear or sell them to my buddy

Most of my hammers prep is done, gonna swap my upper coils for 175 lbs after hammers. (Driver side cool is preloaded that much to because of the taco lean, which I don't like at all) Bumped at 4" up travel right now with an inch before the bump hits the pad :(.
The only way I can pull more up travel is if I notch the hell out of my oil pan, not gonna happen anytime soon lol.

Finally organized the bed a bit so I don't have a bunch of heavy shit flying around, and welded on my rear diff cover.

    Nice!

I also need to do something on the driver's side coilover to address the taco lean issue. It is annoying!

Up travel is over rated with a SAS :D

Haha I had plenty of up travel before I had bump stops, though I did self clearance my oil pan in the process :D. These damn elocker motors take up a decent amount of room where I need it.

Also, dropped my truck off to have the crawl box installed today. I really wanted to do it myself but I just don't have the time to do so in the timeline I wanted. (Last minute hammers prep) haha

@Jimmynolife ,@1999RegCab what spring rates and lengths are you running up front. Jimmy I know you said you were going to a longer spring to get rid of the taco lean. I read the coilover bible on pirate a few times and been watching youtube videos on shock tuning/valving but most people just want you to pay them to do the tuning so they dont give away the big secrets. You guys running 12" or 14" travel coilovers.

I'm running 2.0" x 12" coilovers. My upper springs are 12"x2.5"x150lbs and my lower springs are 14"x2.5x300lbs.

I couldn't fit 2 14" springs on these without compressing the coils almost 2.5" inches (which is too much from what I've read"

I'm not going to run a longer spring, I'm going to run a heavie weight spring on the driver side. My lean just seems to get worse as I put my shit on.

My oil pan has a few bruises as well haha. I have a D60, and with that huge pumpkin I really have absolutely not room left for anything under the engine bay.

Good call. That's a time consuming project. BTW, didn't even know you were going the crawl box route. I may have missed it in some of your posts.

    go for it!

    I think my spring rates are 12" 150lbs/14" 300lbs; and i have 14" coilovers.

Yea, a lot of people consider their shock valving and tuning proprietary. I think it is silly, but hey...people need to make money lol.

Being passenger side drop and with the 8" hi pinion, my only real problem is going to be the exhaust fighting for space with the front driveshaft and lower link mount bracket. Toyota decided to put both the cats right were stuff needs to go.

Nothing a custom re-routing of the exhaust cannot fix. It's just more time and money :D

I think for crawling it's not a huge deal when it comes to calving, you just don't wanna be too stiff. Desert guys like to go crazy with the calving because their shocks see much action

Mine were 12x2.5x200 on the uppers, and 14x2.5x250 lowers on 12" 2.0 coilovers. I changed the passenger side rates to a 12x2.5x140 upper and a 14x2.5x175 lower. Sits damn near perfectly level with the adjuster all the way up. My truck is a standard cab with a 3.4 and manual trans.
