About 6 months of working on it hard for a couple weeks at a time, then taking week long breaks out of frustration lol

I'll never build another truck in my driveway if I can help it.

Hmm... mine will be at 5 weeks this Saturday. I had no idea that it would take so long but the geometry, fitting, re-fitting and double checking everything before you finally burn it in takes a lot of time.

    Yours turned out killer.

Thanks man, I wish I built mine in a shop setting. Just didn't have resources to pull it off. It was for sure a huge learning experience and Im glad I got that out of it.

That's an excellent photo. IIRC, you are running 2.0 12" CO's?

Also, does your front drive shaft have a double cardan at the TC?

I'm still fiddling around with completing my truck. I hope to have things sorted out by the end of June.

    Good work!

They aren't beadlocks, just regular soft 8s with rock rings I made and welded on

Is your cab that close to that rock or is it just how the pic makes it look at a distance:eek:

    Awesome pic.

If you went to the trouble of welding the rings...why not going with bead locks?

Actually, bead locks are bit quite overrated. There's a lot that can be done without them.

Lol yeah the Rock is that close, and I'm over these wheels anyway, beadlocks aren't in the budget right now

I'm sure that was one scary situation!

Yeah, beadlocks are so expensive...plus it is a pain in the ass to assemble the whole thing the first time around...plus having to keep an eye on the torque of a million bolts frequently, etc.

Yeah, with this as my daily driver beadlocks aren't really on my list yet. Lol
