Well long time no post, but here's where I'm at.

The girlfriend was tired of driving a little Kia so we went picked her up this auto v6 4x4 with e locker spacer lift front and all pros out back this past weekend. Needs a little work but for the price it just made sense. She likes the matte green a lot lol :rolleyes:image.jpg

Finally installed my 231mm tundra brakes (obviously not finished in the picture lol)image.jpg

Looking for insight on some good rear springs, I want flex but to be able to carry the load of all my camping stuff at the same time.

I've read about all pro expos but they won't have any in stock for 8-12 weeks :(

All honesty skip the expo's, I went with the expos and it didn't provide enough lift or spring rate.
Ended up with Chevy 63s (3+1) with an additional 2 leafs from the expo pack and 1 from an old alcan pack.
Flex great to match the front and hold the weight of pulling a trailer plus toolbox, spare tire, coolers, etc.

I am running all pro expos with 2 leafs pulled out and have been happy with them. This fall im going to put a leaf back in them as they have sagged pretty good. They flex great once broken in though, I got mine for like half off barely used off TTORA. How much weight do you really carry in the truck while wheeling? The leafs were still really stiff running with nothing in the bed despite the 2 leafs pulled, i could not imagine DD them with an emptyish bed. I would agree with ToyRyd04 and build your own leaf pack unless you find some used expos for a good deal.

This seems like the route I'll probably go

I probably carry somewhere around 200-300 pounds when I wheel, but just driving around town I have my full size 37" spare. Not sure how much weight I'll be adding in the future, but eventually (much later) I'm gonna link the rear and tube the back half

+1 for Cheby 63s. Massive droop and pretty easy to do.

Haha forgot I didn't have any pictures of that. I only really had to massage the floor board because I was trying to get everything up as high as I could.

But now that I've got a Marlin tacobox on the way I'm going with a different style crossmember

What exactly are you doing with the x-member? I built mine from 3" x 1/2" plate... turned out nice. Did take time fiddling with though. If you need measurements & pics, let me know.

    Looking good man.

I'll probably end up getting the trail gear crossmember. For the price of the press braked steel and the "ease" of install I think it's a good deal. I definitely don't want to use this front range crossmember anymore. It's starting to rattle my teeth lol
