An old engineer that I worked with at my old job bought a Hyabusa -- he laid it down in 2 weeks... spent 5 grand to fix it... then laid it down again a month later...

    f that... lol

Jimmy cool Raider and Magna. I'm a member of V Max Owners Association and read the forum on Yahoo Groups but I'm gonna have to check out that Yamaha forum. Thanks for the info.

I'd love to get the new VMax man. 17K isn't bad for 200 HP and good handling right out of the box. I have a few mods on mine and it puts a little over 120 to the rear wheel. Some suspension mods - lowered, frame braces, fork brace, steering damper and neck bearing mod make it handle much better than stock and no high speed wobbles. Doesn't compare to the Busa's handling but the Max weighs in at 600+ lbs. and has dated suspension and frame.
