I like the whine. It makes the sound of my truck super easy to mimic when telling a story that involves passing someone.

I have one, but can't get it installed due to the tsb ecu update that prevents the sc flash to be programmed in

 

so u got a toaster but cant plug it in...... weakkkkk..... now if only tinker errrr.... Gadget would get those connectors for the UCON already.

@zeekevin I'm curious... can you buy a non-updated ECU from a junkyard/wrecker and have the dealership pair the ecu to the key/truck and then flash the blower program on?

 

Yes it is possible to do it that way. But to risk buying a used ecu and finding out it can't be flashed again would suck. The used ecu price ranges from 200-600 brand new is a around 1k but it already has the tsb update programmed in.

 

There is also the rewiring way. Thread on it here, but only solder level - Master, electrical wizards.
