Do it! They're a blast! I have two 6'0 fish that are so much fun, but one of them is 2 3/4 and at this point its a buddy board, way too much volume. Unfortunately everyone wants like $500 for a dinged up christenson lol

Anybody have a need essentials wetsuit? I've heard great things and am close to pulling the trigger on a 4/3 front zip. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with them.

No experience with those but I would definitely recommend a Matuse. A lil pricy, but I've had some that have lasted me four+ years and they're extremely warm and comfortable. If your in SoCal, the 3/4 Tumo would be plenty warm for winters.

Haha yup just a bit. I'm currently using a 4/3 Excel for Santa Cruz/SF area with booties and that keeps me pretty warm.

Curious to see how that suit works for ya!

Woah. I've been wearing a 4/3 all winter with booties. A Visalia suit. In OC.

I'd wear a hooded 4/3 suit at least in SC.

Speaking of cold water. I have an excel infinit hooded chest zip 5/4/3, 7m excel mittens and O'Neil 6/5/4 booties up for grabs. I'll never surf in water that cold again. Just sayin

I think I'm too tall for your suit but just out of curiosity what size?

I wear a medium suit if it's that size I'll take it.

    A few things
4/3 is optimum in Santa Cruz, booties optional. I ride a 10', 2 crows board, used to ride a 11' Pearson arrow glider.
