Local company started in Austin. Been on and off these for a while until I snagged my own on CL.

Mastercrafts make my waves currently lol

Mastercraft waves are fun. when i was landlocked for some of my college years, wakesurfing kept me sane. used to just hold the rope and lay into the wake as hard as we could. made a video once. i'll have to see if i can dig it up on Youtube. pretty kooky stuff looking back on it now. but it was a blast.

did you get to try the Nland surf park before it closed for repairs? is it still closed?

Found it. oh man. good memories. I remember thinking the flat spin 360 i finally stuck at the end of the video was the coolest thing. was so happy about that. and messing with all the "cool effects" when making the video. haha.

I got to go out west! Caught a couple waves in Texas over 5 years ago. Furthest west I've been(nothing to brag about). My childhood dream was to throw an exhibition rig together and take off to Baja. It's stupid the older I get the further away that dream gets...

Been wondering if someone was going to start a thread like this. No pictures of boards unfortunately as I go through them pretty often but mostly ride Mayhem's. Would have to say my favorite board of all time is a Lost Rocket (the OG rocket). I've also ridden some Merricks and Roberts here and there.
Mostly surf in the Outer Banks as my home break, VA Beach, doesn't have much to offer. Picture time.

Man. I've always wanted to score east coast barrels. Never surfed over there. Wish I had the kind of money where if I knew a swell was gonna hit I could just get on a plane and get out there. Always looks fun when swells hit.

Dude I wanted a Costco sushi board so bad while I lived in Hawaii so I could just get shacked in shorebreak everyday. Sadly I never bought one. Did buy my eventual go-to board out there though

Outer Banks swells are killer, if you can swing a trip I definitely recommend it. Barrels hard and fast. It's hard to get skunked there as there's a break for almost any swell direction. Hurricane swells can be tricky as ocean water often covers across the whole island and can tear apart the highway, Been getting very lucky this past fall/winter in Buxton, a good one from my most recent trip.

And this is what you have to be careful of in Hurricanes, Nor'easters, and Winter Storms

They're cheap. That's about the only good I've found in mine. And it's fun to push my daughters into little rollers. But surfing it is ROUGH. I've had WAYYY more fun on my twin fin "Foamy" surfboard. Has a foam top, but the bottom is glassed just like a surfboard. Or a catch surf. They surf better even. The sushi just doesn't do what you want it to. That's why it's $60

The 8 ft Costco board is a different story. Best $100 board and surfs better than boards I've paid a lot more for...

I plan on picking one of those up this summer to play around on. My good friend longboards when it's small and I'm sick of struggling for 1 turn waves so Costco board it is

I wanna get a catch surf. Those are sweet but like $200. My buddy took his to Baja last year and ripped it on some solid 5 foot waves. It also gets you shacked in shorebreak in laguna
