HB was sick today! 5 footers all day. Got a little chandelier barreled. Took a few huge drops. Had to jump off the falls a few times. Good times. Great surf.

been looking into getting a sup board. any advice on what to look for/get? I've never been on one but do have some mediocre surf experience if that helps haha. Mainly would be used in the ocean. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

Mainly just paddle around. I mean trying to surf it would be pretty rad but to be honest it probably won't happen

It's 2 totally different boards if you want to surf or just paddle, which is why I ask. I'd look in to something around 12' to paddle with. I don't own one but also kind of want to get one for the flat days just to be out on the water and get a workout in.

Same. I was just out at Refugio (Santa Barbara) state beach on friday and it was super flat and mellow would have loved to been able to go out there and paddle around. Getting a workout in too wouldn't be a bad thing

need to learn more about this stuff
i have a SUP just for workout and enjoying the ocean purposes. i never go in the lineup with it. if you are in the same boat, i 100% recommend Costcos SUP Wavestorm boards. cheap and if anything happens you can return it. or if you never use it and hate it, etc.

Second this. We bought one, broke it, and then returned it all in one day.
