Anyone have a Catchsurf? I'm thinking about getting either the 6'0 skipper or the 5'5 RNF. One of my coworkers said he knows the head sales rep or something like that and might be able to get me a discount. Been wanting a fun little floaty board for those smaller days and to take in to some Laguna shorebreak barrels

I used to ride the 5'5 Odysea when I was bored and it was pretty fun.

I've got a 5'0 stump, a beater, a super 54" and a 5'6" skipper haha. They take a little practice to master but I find myself grabbing my skipper for most heavy swells these days. It holds a line really well. The other boards are mostly for smaller shorebreak but I rode the stump at big wedge swells plenty of times. The RNF feels weird my buddy has one and I definitely prefer the skipper. Either way they're all a good time.

Rad. My coworker said he emailed the guy so we’ll see what happens. Gonna get one either way but would be sweet to get a discount. Think I’m probably leaning more towards the skipper. I wanna go for a stump but want my girlfriend to possibly ride it and she’s still learning. But also wanted something I’ll have fun on. Mostly want to take it to Laguna and get hammered in the shorebreak

New favorite thread! I have had at least 10 Pyzel boards. Broke 7 of them :(. Was able to fix two of them. My quiver currently consists of a 6'3" Pyzel Flash (step-up) a 6'1" Pyzel Flash, 2x 5'11" Bastards, a 5'11" Pyzel 74, and a 5'10" Pyzel Indy grom. Also have a few fishes that my buddy shaped for me. 4'9 (broken), 4'10", and 4'11". I attached a few photos from a recent trip to Indo!6E6A4046.jpg6E6A1284.jpg6E6A6634.jpg

need to learn more about this stuff
i just moved to HB last month. just got out of the water at the cliffs. was super fun. I love some fall Santa Anas. with the tide dropping it got better too.

SOOOO many quicksand tacos around here. when i was in LA there was maybe 1 or 2 others. now i see 8 just on my drive to the surf. i live by the harbor. thought i wouldn't like being in North HB but its growing on me and i am starting to prefer it.

I'm in South HB, right on the border of Newport. Can't drink yet but I'm always down for a good surf.

Ahh a grom! You probably are a lot better than I am haha. I usually paddle out weekday mornings at the river jetties at Brookhurst about 630-7 before work.
