Been loving it. Handles superbly in big waves and can carry enough speed through the slower stuff too.

Just had a 2 hour sesh at Goldenwest. It was surprisingly good. Some solid waist to chest high sets. Good fun

Cliffs was real good today. The sand bars have been kind lately. I surfed at goldenwest which is only a few blocks south. Saw some nice peelers down there too

Heading to Ventura march 3-8. It's work conference so I didn't have choice on timing. Looks like it'll be dinky. Staying on the beach at c street if anyone is around that area and wants to meet up.

    A few things
Did a surfing trip to SoCal a few years back and spent a few days in Ventura. Had a lot of fun and a good surf vibe. Have fun!

Haven’t surfed in months, have a brand new board I’ve only used for one week on a surf trip and still haven’t dialed in due to injury, torture.

Haha ya it was a bit cold today. I just got out. It was pretty bad. Lots of texture from some deep off shore winds. I was so sore and tired from yesterday I just could not surf

It isn't pretty, but it's better off than it was, is completely sealed and doesn't hold water, and looks better :D
I didn't want to completely fill/smooth out the desk cause it would have taken mucho resin/Q-cell and would have made the board extremely heavy. So the deck has some "character' still. I mean the foam is older than me, so I couldn't really expect much.

As mentioned 2 Part Pour Over foam wouldve been key for the Deck, etc. Cheap, easy to mix, sand and work with all around.

Wow what a job! Looks good man. Also looks like a nightmare to laminate and sand with the pitted deck! How does it surf now?!

I'll have to give it a shot on one of my other older boards that that need some TLC. The short working time i was reading about this stuff made me not want to bother with it for this board. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Yeah, it kinda was, but it was all fun in the end!! I haven't surfed it yet! Finished it up on wednesday night and had a mini storm yesterday so the water was choppy, dirty, and windy. Hopefully this weekend
