Definitely ready for the warmer temps. When I first moved here I'd wear a 3/2 year round, just adding booties in the winter. Now, I can't even get outta bed if it's cold. Maybe it's my age. Too old for this shit. Haha. Was out recently before work and the air temp was 46, with a slight offshore. Fucking froze.

yeah, we are pretty spoiled and become pretty weak to cold temps. 2 januarys ago it was "so cold" when i was pulling my wetsuit off from down around my ankle, i dislocated my finger. my fingers were so numb, i didn't realize it at the time, but man. now i use a shoe horn when it gets too cold to get the suit off

Not yet. I need to order up some ottraw switches. I've been dragging my heels to do it. I knew it's easy just haven't done it. If it wasn't raining this weekend would have been perfect.

Definitely not in the rain, but maybe in a month or two when it heats up and theres a three day weekend on a holiday or something. Would be a good weekend of grilling, camping, and surfing. I'll post up pics of my latest board I picked up

I have a couple different boards from mini simmons to shortboards and then a couple retro shapes I mainly like riding those. Trying to sell my longboard and a fish to get another fish thats much smaller. Im not much of a ripper but have fun trying anyway, heres a couple of the boards in my quiver

Picked up this Album Bonzer from a guy in san diego (who also had a white tacoma with all pro long travel up front and a camper shell) this board is so much fun:

Aipa Stinger I use as more of a step up (wish it had a little less volume):

Yeah I actually just got it and its a lot of fun, it glides. More than welcome to try it out sometime. I feel like I say this about every board I get but definitely one I'll keep forever and get another one shaped when its beat to death. I haven't had the chance to go down to baja but I would definitely be down for a tw trip down to rosarito or k38 or other spots in baja

My quiver currently consists of 4 boards:

7'2" South Coast (i call this my long short board) hardly ever take this one out anymore, I'm getting old and fat and it takes to much energy to paddle this board.
It's a ripper but my arms turn to noodley mush quickly riding this guy.

7'6" Becker "The Thick" This board is a little thick through rails and is great for catching waves of all size especially ones that are overhead high. Supper fast paddler.
By far the oldest board in my quiver and the one I have ridden the most. It is beginning to look like a doodoo stick after all these years.
I need a shaper to make me this exact board again, it's just so good.

7'6 Becker "The Thin" Same length as my other Becker but way thinner, not nearly as much float so it doesn't paddle as fast. I little bit more nimble when your riding though.
Real easy to slash around on this board. I ride this when the waves are medium small.

    9'6" Pearson Arrow Wingnut
Perhaps the last Wingnut Long board Bob Pearson made before Wingnut started surfing for Robert August surfboards.
A beautiful board when new! Kinda wish i just hung it on the wall as a piece of art, it was that pretty.
It's has some dings and dents along along with a bunch of fiber glass repairs and water stains from years of abuse.
Board was custom made for me by Mr Pearson back in the 90's. You can still make out Shaped by Bob for Ben in the stringer : )

Had a bunch more boards over the years but these were the good ones, the ones I've kept.

All this surf talk is making me Jones for the ocean.
I need to paddle out, perhaps this weekend : )

Does the fact that we surf and own Tacoma trucks automatically qualify us as Bros?
Did i mention my truck has Ko2's?
