I make them during my Chemo treatments. I use mainly my cancer color and give them to friends, family and anyone who asks about it on my wrist.

I would love to see this. I've made a few bracelets and a keychain lanyard and am considering making one for one of my AR15s. I'm having a little bit of a hard time finding proper sling points to connect it to. I think it would be fitting on a rifle givin the amount of cord it would take.

Agreed. I wore one for about 2 months in A-stan, then it started to stink something fierce.

Saw some folks that made slings for their rifles out of 550 cord. Lots of people also made bracelets in their spare time - USO held classes.

Unfortunately, they're unauthorized for wear in uniform per AR 670-1. Plus, they really start stinking after a little bit from all the dirt and sweat in the desert. Honestly, if I need 550 cord I just cut a piece off of the 100' I keep spooled up in a pouch on my kit.
