    is it me or does it seem that from your pictures, the coil is favoring the front of the bucket moreso than the rear?

    the bucket assembly that you bolt the top 3 top plate bolts to the frame. does the coil favor the front/rear of the bucket

    sounds to me like when the strut is fully extended the top of the shock is coming undone or something. as if it is not attached to the top plate :notsure:

    no sir... the coil has the strut top plate (not sure if that's what it's called or not) and that's what touches the bucket.

    that's a good question... I can't duplicate the noise by myself, so I'll check it tomorrow... I'm not too sure it could be the coil sliding down and tapping it... which would make more sense than the piston rod moving and hitting the coil...

    If the coil is moving and touching the shock, idk it sounds like maybe the coil is too short?

    But if you look at his before install picture, looks like the coils is seated properly on the strut with no play/movement

    when he took the picture the suspension probably wasnt at full droop, so the coil was probably pushed back up to where it normaly is. idk thats my guess :notsure: either way something is terribly wrong
    Edit: read that wrong. idk im really confused here lol

    Hmmmmm, almost just sounds like your coils are just moving around or something...not the shock touching the coils. For that to happen your shock would basically have to be broken and coming out.

    When did you get these installed and how many miles have you put on them? Might just need to break them in a bit to get that creak out of the way. Maybe throw a little grease up in there and see if it still happens.


    To me it just sounded like the coil creaking a bit...
