I am a bit of a newbie considering my situation. Long story short I need a new truck now and have ordered a 2016, nothing against 2015. I regret not buying a tacoma 11 years ago when I bought my tundra.

Anyway...when purchasing vehicle I am planning on tires as stop #1 before heading home to wifey. She doesn't get the whole tires thing. Thinks bald is fine.

My question is how long before I can level it? I have purchases new cars before, but never first year model.

I am assuming everything being similar I will opt for adjustable bilstein and set at 1.75.

The shop I've talked to made it sound like he wanted to do risers and said this "new" style does not effect ride. From what I've gathered by reading several posts is that risers are a bad idea.

I'm not one to wheel on the weekends, but I do go off road. But I will run over stuff if necessary, or it looks like fun.

It's hard to know for sure right now, but I'm thinking a lot of the existing kits for the 2005-2015 will likely fit the 2016. Still, might have to wait and see if they've changed things in the mounting department for the suspension in meaningful ways.

The frame is still basically the same as the 2005-2015, but you're right, we won't know for certain for a bit.

Guess it would make sense as demand will not be there until consumers have a truck to modify.

I remember working on humvees with those tracks. What a PITA to work on them when the tracks go off of them.

I can't say it's on its way or I have paperwork or I know the color
I can say I am waiting for our regions orders to go online and as soon as my guy calls me I am putting a deposit down.

Anything possible, don't jinx me. I could get hit in my tundra and have no collateral and cancel my order.

My dad wants my tundra and has cash. He wouldn't want it if it got hit. He has an old salvaged title ranger I might have to rough it in for a couple weeks. It's fun, it's a manual, but I have three kids that wont fit in a regular cab
