Don't forget you need 4 new bushings and longer u bolts.
Might as well go for an all pro u bolt flip kit while you're there

Do you want rake or level?

    I added this to mine:

    (Scroll down to D29XL)

Yes double check with the vendor for the bushings. Mine came with 4 new ones from Headstrong.

as stated earlier.. i had the OME 885's with 1/4" top plates for a total of 3" of lift up front. for the rear, I had the Icon 3 leaf progressive pack for 1.5" of lift. brought me level.. but the leaf pack didnt hold weight at all. it rode like a dream... for maybe 6 months.. then began to sag terribly. I would constantly bottom out.

since then (about a month ago) I swapped out the front and rear to Kings, and got a new leaf pack... this..

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/NEW-BOSS-05-Tacoma-Leaf-Springs_p_1094.html

like i said.. they've only been on the truck for about a month.. but.. i love them. they are comparable to the Dakars people have mentioned, but they only yield 2" vs the 3" the Dakars give.. yet still hold weight due to the 10 leaf design and 2 overloads. they flex great. have great on road manners. and the fact they match 3" of lift up front was the selling point.

really comes down to what you want to spend and what you're going to be doing with the truck.

the OME setup is still a sold choice. I had no complaints with mine.. the only thing I would have done differently is do that leaf pack from Toytec.. That.. paired with OME's front and rear, with 885's.. or the 887's.. would be a very decent setup. you could save some coin by going with Light Racing UCA's (balljoint) instead of the Uniball.

I don't think I have any of the skills or resources to do something like that, if only... I think i might send Wheeler's a begging email. See if I can get free/reduced shipping and just order all the parts through them.

Hopefully I can get the same luck, you'd imagine with a 1100-1200 dollar order, they could hook me up a little LOL :help:

Dude it is so easy. If you can install a leaf pack you can redo your springs. I did mine in less than a day and am very happy. I can put several hundred pounds before my rear starts to sag. And it rides extremely well.
