definitely - forgot to mention that, I assumed it would be included, especially in this case where OP wants to raise the rear around 2" to be level. Plus leafs tend to settle over time, so you'll want the extra 1/2" after a few years. There aren't many reasons for why you would take it out as you probably won't need extended brake lines. Keep an eye out for the carrier bearing drop incase you get some driveline vibs.

I don't have any first hand experience with this, but I've read countless posts on lift questions and commentary. with that being said...DON'T DO IT! you'll regret the blocks in the long run and wish you had gone with the add-a-leaf. the main concert seems to be the extra stress put on the factory leafs can lead to axle wrap over time. the AAL is not that much more expensive, and will give you a more comfortable ride. not to mention it will expand your trucks capabilities rather than hinder them.

So the vibration will be because of the rear end lift. What should I do to prevent this from happening. Or should I wait and see if this happens.

I'd wait and see if it happens. I didn't have any vibes for a few years and I don't think doing anything back when the AAL was installed would have prevented them anyways.

Ok thanks for the heads up on the vibration. One last question. With the Wheelers 3 leaf AAL would I need new shocks. If I do which ones are recommended.

    Thanks again guys

A member on here, GreenRustic, has run his ICON 3 leaf AAL with stock rear shocks for some time - he said he hasn't experienced any issues when I asked him a month or so ago. He's got the new ones but I'm not sure if he installed them yet.

Get OME Nitrochargers or Bilstein rear shocks. Do some searching to see which works best for your application.

If you don't do any off roading, or just very light off roading, you can get away with stock shocks for a while but know that they won't do a great job dampening the stiffer leaf pack. You might experience the back end feeling 'choppy' with the AAL and the stock shocks. As far as length, the stock shocks are fine. I'm running stock length 5100's paired with the Icon 3-leaf AAL, with the overload in place and they've help up well. If you off road frequently, and want the most flex you can get, it would make sense to look for longer shocks to allow for more droop but that could also mean taller bump stops. For on road use, stock length shocks are fine.
