Swapping out a 08 oem stereo for a 09????

Hello all,
I have a 08 Tacoma with the stock non-JBL 6-disc stereo. I would like to install a aux so I can use my Creative ZEN M mp3 player. I was reading in a thread that the new 09 stereos read mp3 cd's, my 08 does not. I do not want to but a aftermarket HU and was wondering if I could swap out the 09 HU and 6-disc changer for my 08 and install the aux, then I could play mp3 cd's as well as use my Zen. Have done some searching but have not seen any pics on the 09 stereo's so...
Thanks for any advice.

should be all the same plugs. i dont see why it wont work.
