Sway-A-Way 2.0/2.5 heim replacement *PICS*

LCA bushings don't squeak that loud. With the coilovers, the heims are rubbing metal on metal which is why it's so loud. The best way to tell is by placing a floor jack under your LCA and lift it up and down. If you think you have pin pointed the squeaking, spray some lubricant, preferably silicone based like Tri-Flow or something similar. If the squeak goes away, you know you found the source. Don't wait to long to replace the heims because if the metal on metal continues rubbing, you'll wear out the coilover eyelet which will be more expensive to replace.

 

Old thread but useful. Just pulled the sway a ways off my Tacoma and I think too late. Argh!! It appears the eye mount on coilover is shot! Now to decide on new cool overs for front or replace entire system with OME?
I bought truck with saw's on it, but didn't look at them until one blew at Gorman.
