Not messing with taking my sway bar off,I learned a long time ago that all these modifications destroy the value of your truck.

To remove the swaybar is just a few bolts, and it's 100% reversible. If that's the reason you're leaving your swaybar on, it shouldn't be.

What is even the point of removing the swaybar ?

It's for increased articulation off-road, but comes at the expense of increased body roll on-road.

Ah... that makes sense. They just look like the fins would be wearing b/c of the position they are in. Didn't know the were aftermarket one's. Just looking out :)

I had the swaybar off mine for awhile because of the hype on here and because I thought they were rubbing against something. After a couple days of city driving I put them back on because they had too much body roll for my tastes. I'm sure I would've gotten used to it but I don't see why I would want to, I don't off-road and more body roll doesn't appeal to me on those tight off-ramp spirals and suburbia curves. I didn't even feel comfortable letting my wife drive while it was off.

And yes I had beefier springs, Ironman4x4 Performance springs specifically (2in lift, 863 lbf/in spring rate).

Uhhhh, why in the world are your springs rated so high? Do you have a tank for a front bumper?

I only wanted 2" of lift and these were the middle of the road spring rate offered by these guys (669/863/960). I should've done a little more research before I bought them but I was kind of in a rush at the time and I wanted them rated a little higher for a plate bumper later. Haven't gotten there yet though.

That's insane for our trucks. The normal OME coils are 590, and their 886s (can support a plate bumper) are 660 lb coils. Some running performance coil-overs go 700lbs if they've got a whole lot of stuff. Does your truck ride like a dump truck?

It's pretty fucking stiff lol. Corners like a beast though. According to the manufacturer my springs were "only" rated for an extra 0-50kg (110lbs). The 960lbf/in Constant Load springs were for anything over. But that kind of goes to prove my point: if my stiff ass front end had body roll then I can't imagine how some of the other guys can claim they don't.

I don't know. I can't do them myself and taking it back to the shop would probably mean my wife leaves me.

My VSC won't even let me get close to out of control. It randomly kicks in and cuts engine power around some corners, but not others while driving normal day to day roads.

If you're lifted, take this to the dealer and have them re-calibrate your VSC.
