Quick discos on a Jeep is the cheap almost entry level way but not the best way. The better way is to use a Currie AntiRock sway bar or similar. I have had one on my last 4 Jeeps and it is great both on and off road. The jeep will perform better off-road with it on than an identical jeep with no sway bar at all. All we need is a weaker sway bar so we will allow more flex but still some control for the road.I dont recommend it on a stock Tacoma but with the usual suspension work we do softer would be much better than the OE bar or none. The AntiRock bar is adjustable so you set it to match your suspension set up to your liking. It can be had for well under 5 bills. JKS made end links for the JK wrangler that looked almost like a small shock but instead of oil inside it had what looked like 2 Valve springs, one for when the bar was trying to go up and one for when the bar was trying to push down . The springs compress some before any force was put on the actual sway bar which has the same effect as a softer sway bar . More than one way to skin a cat its just a matter of getting the aftermarket's attention or some one able to make it an go into business just as the Jeep aftermarket does

I run an Antirock on my TJ and always wondered if one could be modified to fit the Tacoma. I just discovered that Currie sells a universal kit with a 45" bar and it sure looks to me like all it would take is fabricating and welding the mounts. The most difficult part would be parting with over $500 hard earned dollars purchase price. But for offroading nothing, including no swaybar, is better than an Antirock.

Here is a better visual of what I spoke of as far as the JKS flex connect end link. I tried a set on my JK a few years ago and they do work . They offer different springs so you can adjust the stiffness. n-11895-jks_flex_connect_now_available.html

I removed the sway bar while doing wheel bearings . Hell this corners flatter than my TJ's did with the Anti-Rock in the middle setting did. I turned sharp like an evasive turn and still flatter than a TJ so Im fine with no bar. It still dont come close to flexing like the TJ off-road either though. It did remove the side to side motion that throws ya around like the Anti Rock did for the TJs and rides smoother so I am happy. Now to get some longer shocks in the rear
